I sit here today editing photos, cropping and framing... sorting and just dusting out what I don't want. I've got weeks worth of work to do.. I have a calendar to finish but the photos are somewhere in the mail. I never made it to the Remembrance Day Ceremony which upsets me a bit, but I did watch it with the kids on television, and cleared up some reasons for them why we should still pay respect to those who fight for freedom, and the reason why we have Remembrance day.
I get emotional during ceremonies like this, and no I do not have anyone personally in the wars, I know of people who are in Kuwait, but personally no.
I cry standing in my living room paying my respect wishing I could add my poppy to those others on the Cenotaph. I will send it out on the Ocean when I can instead.

So I'm shivering here, cause it's cold, trying to get some work done, trying to encourage some more people to purchase one of my calendars so I can say I am working....
reading other's journals about hardship and celebrations... making me remember my own hardships of past and the one I'm experiencing with my family right now.
Listening to the radio about how many more people are out of work as of yesterday, and who is laying scores of people off today... and tomorrow...
Making me feel less like a failure, and just one of the many just trying to keep us from failing completely..
So in saying all this, I wish a hot meal for all,a roof over your head, a warm bed for all to sleep in tonight, and loving family that know when to love, when to lend a hand, and when to lend a shoulder for us to cry on.
